“ The best humba in all Houston! I drive an hour away from Richmond just for the humba. Come early coz it’s always a sold-out star, from the array of delicious food to choose from. And they have a wide variety of Filipino food staples and even dessert and kakanin and pastry too. Karaoke open-mic on some weekends add a vibe that’s typically Filipino and make it a place that’s family-friendly and fun. ”

“ I haven't been to Houston in quite a few years now, but used to go down from DFW several times a year and this was a staple for me. I probably first discovered it around 2009/10 and absolutely had to go every time I was in town. It got to the point that even with me only being in town 2 or 3 times a year they still remembered me every time. I would even force coworkers to join me and they couldn't believe how great the food was. It was a great place to introduce Philippine cuisine to other Americans, especially since the food was always top tier. And honestly, this location was much better in terms of ambiance and food quality over their other location in the medical district. Having been around the Texas Philippine community (mainly DFW) for 20 years (including many visits over there), this restaurant will always stand out in memory and have a special place in my heart. Thank you Best of Filipiniana too for many fond memories. (Decided to write this after seeing a FB post reminding me of my fondness for this amazing restaurant) ”
